How to receive the screener verification code by call?

To receive the verification code for a phone-authenticated screener by call:

Click Authenticate & Play on the video thumbnail
Wait for the countdown below the Verify button to finish, it will change to a Call Instead link
Click Call Instead to receive the verification code over a call

Note:

Once a phone number is entered, it is bound to a screener and cannot be changed. You must reach out to the sender of the screener to request for a new screener link if you’d like to use a different phone number.
Requesting for the verification codes repeatedly in quick succession, might get locked out, in such cases, you would have to wait up to an hour before you can generate verification codes again.
Indee does not store phone numbers. They are strictly for authentication purposes only.

Sending Screeners

The core use of Indee’s platform is to enable its subscribers to send secure screeners to aid promotional and sales activity. We’ve tried to build and design a workflow that’s easy to navigate and quick to accomplish. There are a host of customizations available to you, regardless of your subscription plan. Read on to ensure you’re leveraging all of them.

The Screener Workflow

To send screeners, click on the Send Screeners tab in your project and :

Select the right videos to screen
Choose the desired screener settings
Select watermark & security settings
Enter your recipient’s details.

It takes most users, on an average, less than a minute to generate a screener (forensic screeners have a processing time that’s proportional to the duration of your video).

Selecting Your Videos

The first step towards sending screeners is to select the video(s) you would like to screen. Every screening link you create is a screener room which can house one or more screeners within it. This is beneficial if you’d like to share a feature film along with trailers or for multiple episodes in case of TV content.

We recommend clicking the video thumbnail to view the video and double-check you’re sending the right one out.

Within the Videos section of your project, click on Add New Video to enter the video upload workflow.

Naming your video

This is not your project name. Rather, the title given to a specific version of a trailer, a clip, or the full-length video itself. E.g. Director’s cut. We recommend using unique titles for your project and video names as they are displayed in conjunction with each other..

Selecting your video file for upload

Indee can handle most video formats, and video files up to 20GB in size. However, given the inconsistent bandwidths, we recommend uploading videos that meet the following configurations - 8GB, 1080p, mp4 with H.264 codec. You can find the complete list of supported formats here.

Choosing a watermark position

We offer three options: Top, Middle & Bottom. If your video files contain subtitles it’s best to select watermark positions that don’t clash with them.

|| Note: Indee does not support any customization on the watermark, like font changes, opacity etc.

Indicating a rough cut

Check the box against "Is this video a rough cut?" to indicate that the video is meant for internal circulation. It’s especially useful during the post-production process when multiple iterations of the video are being developed. The Rough Cut indicator only appears
