How do I cast using Google Chromecast?

We support Chromecast from a Google Chrome browser on Windows and Mac. Casting is not supported on Safari and iOS devices(iPhone/iPad).

To cast to your Chromecast from Windows/Mac laptops:

Disable the option Use hardware acceleration when available on your Chrome browser and Relaunch the browser.
Click the three dots on the top right corner of your Chrome browser, and select Cast.
Choose the Chromecast device where you want to watch the content.

Ensure hardware acceleration is disabled on your Chrome browser.

To disable hardware acceleration:

Click the kebab menu or the three dots on the top right corner of your Chrome browser.
Click Settings.
Click System.
Disable the option Use hardware acceleration when available.
Click the Relaunch option that is displayed.

To cast from your Android phones and tablets:

Open the Google Home app on your android phone or tablet.
Choose the Chromecast device.
Tap Cast my Screen, and tap the Cast Screen button on the pop-up displayed.
Tap the Start Now button to start casting.
