How Video Overrides Work

Video Overrides give users special permissions for a video that override previous permissions.

Viewing Video Overrides

1. Click the project thumbnail and then click Videos

2. Click Edit and then Next

3. Click  Save & Next and then Override

Adding Video Overrides

1. Click Override

2. To add a user, select Users, enter their email address in the search bar, and select them from the dropdown (only users who have been added to the project will appear here)

3. To add a group, select Groups, enter the group’s name, and select them from the dropdown

4. Choose their role

5. Refresh your webpage

Note: Users and groups need to be granted access to the project in order to be given video overrides.

Changing Video Overrides

1. Click Override

2. Select Users or Groups

3. Choose the role of the user or group you want to change

4. Refresh your webpage

Removing Video Overrides

1. Click Override

2. Select Users or Groups

3. Click X beside the user or group you want to remove, or click Reset to remove all the video overrides
